  4. VoRTeX offers 1440 possible starting game-board configurations 
  5. for you.  It is quite possible that you may play this game for years
  6. without playing a major portion of these configurations.
  7.  
  8. This huge number of configurations,  when combined with the large number of
  9. monitor/video card/video driver combinations,  may lead to an occasional
  10. problem.  
  11.  
  12. Among the systems that we have tested,  the square game-boards have
  13. had absolutely no problem.  Only one beta-tester reported that he got a GPF
  14. (General Protection Fault) message, when he tried to use the circular versions.
  15. In the highly unlikely event that this should happen to you,  we offer the
  16. following two suggestions;
  17.     a) Change the Video Driver. 
  18.     Select Main/Windows Setup program item and change system
  19.         settings to pick a driver, for example VGA
  20.     b) Call your video driver manufacturer and get an updated    
  21.         video driver.

  23. Both of these solutions solve the problem of GPF that may occur.
  24. The error occurs in the video driver (*.drv) file and we
  25. can not solve that problem created by a video driver.
